Gwynn Domestic Shorthair Young Female in Merrifield, Virginia

My story
Gwynn is a beautiful female gray and white kitty. She was found on a sidewalk of Umberger Street in Wytheville, Virginia on Memorial Day weekend 2021. Attempts to find her owner were unsuccessful. She apparently had been hit by a car and was in late pregnancy. The impact caused her to go into labor, and her kittens were born on Memorial Day. Gwynn developed severe mastitis (mammary gland infection) and was in critical condition for a couple of days. But with attentive veterinary care, she has made a full recovery and is ready to find her forever home. She was called “Polite Cat” at the vet hospital due to her gentle nature.4Paws initially intended for Gwynn to go to Meows Corner cat café & lounge in Sterling, but in foster when Gwynn was loose with other cats, she made it clear she was not a fan, especially at mealtime. She did well with her foster’s cat-savvy mastiff. Because of these observations, we think Gwynn would do best as the only pet, or with a calm, mature dog after proper introductions. She would do well with older kids that are respectful. Her adopter will need to keep her active to burn off her energy – she is still young and playful. Her estimated birth date is January 1, 2020.Gwynn likes playing with fishing pole toys and catnip kicker toys. Her appetite is good, and she will greet her people and solicit pets.Gwynn has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and vaccinated. She has been eating Fancy Feast classic pate and Blue Buffalo Sensitive Stomach dry kibble.
